ZenMotion in Spanish

Calisthenics is huge across Latin America and Spain, and until now ZenMotion only spoke English and Swedish. v1.59 adds Spanish. It also lets you share your progress with your own photo, and makes the post-session insight fairer.

ZenMotion en español

If your iPhone is set to Spanish, the whole app follows: screens, workouts, exercise names and instructions, Coach feedback and notifications. To use Spanish in ZenMotion only, go to Settings › Apps › ZenMotion › Language.

We wrote one neutral Latin-American Spanish for every Spanish-speaking country. It uses tú, and it speaks to you without assuming your gender, so you'll read "¿Vamos por el siguiente paso?" rather than "¿Listo para el siguiente paso?".

Skill names stay the way the scene says them. Planche, Front Lever, Human Flag and Muscle-Up stay in English, while the basics are translated: flexiones, dominadas, sentadillas, parada de manos.

This is a first version, and we'll keep polishing it screen by screen. If something reads oddly, write to support@zenmotion.app and we'll fix it.

Share with your own photo

When you share an achievement or your journey, you now choose between two formats:

  • Photo: your own photo or a selfie behind your stats. Take one with the camera or pick one from your library.
  • Card: the classic ZenMotion card. It's still the default until you pick a photo.

A Show numbers switch hides the stats if you'd rather just show the moment. From there you can share to Instagram Stories, save the image to Photos, or send it anywhere with the share sheet.

Your photo is never uploaded to ZenMotion. The image is made on your phone, and only the finished picture is saved, and only if you choose to save it.

A fairer session insight

The insight after a session used to judge every set against the exercise's peak target. If a session asked for 10, 8 and 6 reps, your third set was measured against 10. Now each set is compared with your personal target for that set.

Sets you leave empty now count as skipped, not missed. Log two sets on target, move on, and the insight no longer calls it a struggle.

After add-on sessions, such as the mobility flows, core and posterior chain work, or Handstand Play, the insight no longer suggests a long break before your next session. Those sessions are built to fit between your regular training days.

Easier to read, nicer to press

Small text in Onboarding, Coach, Programs, Challenges, Achievements and Focus moves to brighter shades with clear contrast against the dark background. The cards and links on Home now respond when you press them.

Available in v1.59.0 on TestFlight now, rolling out to the App Store this week. Feedback welcome at support@zenmotion.app.
